Deep in the Amazon forest, Rayfran das Neves Sales ended 20 years of terror by killing nun, Dorothy Stang a stanch defender of the Brazilian rain forests. Sales claims to have been merely acting in self defense when the radical nun reached for her fully loaded Bible.
“She said, ‘The weapon I have is this,’ and reached into her bag,” Sales said. “I didn't know what she was going to pull out of her bag, so I shot her.”
One could argue that shooting Stang once would have been sufficient, but Sales shot her five times.
"How many times do I have to hear John 3:16? I mean I have seen Vertigo, and no nun is taking me out."
