Ah, Mr. Poopy Pants I presume...

Always the conscientious morale builder for our troops engaged in combat situations, Howard Dean fought back Sunday to try and undo some of the positive coverage that Joe Lieberman's editorial in the Wall Street Journal brought to the situation in Iraq. Not that Coward Dean has ever used much thought before he engages his mouth here is a rundown of his defeatist views:

"The idea that we're going to win the war in Iraq is an idea which is just plain
wrong"

"I've seen this before in my life. This is the same situation we had in Vietnam. Everybody then kept saying, 'just another year, just stay the course, we'll have a victory.' Well, we didn't have a victory, and this policy cost the lives of an additional 25,000 troops because we were too stubborn to recognize what was happening."
Ew, so sorry Mr. Dean, but you lose 2 points for false correlations and fear pandering. I mean Iraq and Vietnam are literally mirror images of each other. 50,000 lost troops in Vietnam to 2,000 in Iraq. No regime change in Vietnam to democratic government with a constitution in Iraq. Vietnam lasted about 12 years we have been in Iraq less than 3 years. All we need now is few urine filled balloons and John Kerry talking about atrocities being committed by our troops and the correlations will be complete. Oh wait, I guess we got that too:

"And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into
the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children"
(Senator John Kerry, November 4, 2005 on CBS' "Face the Nation")
Quite frankly Coward, the only similarities between Iraq and Vietnam is the hysteria being created by the Democrats. I find it very insulting that you keep making uninformed comments about our troops in Iraq while sitting in your cozy, secluded little world, but your fellow Democrat Joe Lieberman has been to Iraq 4 times in the last 17 months.

Why don't you own up Coward. Reach down and see if you have a pair, board a plane, and go to Iraq and actually look the troops in the eye and say the same crap you do here in America. You will find the baseless rhetoric you preach is easier if you don't have to be worried about the repercussions and let a little truth get in the way.
