In A Word Analysis: Losing The War In California

As the growing death toll mounts, political leaders are starting to call for an immediate withdrawal from the state of California. With 2,394 homicides this year alone in the Golden State (or 265% higher than allied troop loses in Iraq) and mounting political pressure from swing voters, the question now becomes how long can we continues to "stay the course."

"We have made real tangible progress on the ground in California," Senator John Kerry (D-MA) said during a news conference on Friday. "We can't pull out now. If we leave before the job is finished countless additional lives will be lost to the anti-Political Correctness insurgency. We must stay thc course until they are completely detached from reality."

It should be said however, the Republicans have never really presented a clear alternative plan on California. "We will have a position at the proper time, we are not the majority party in California," argued Senator Grassley (R-IA). "The American people were feed lies since the founding of California. The government clearly didn't have all the facts straight on the gold rush of 1849, but the great, great, great Grandfather of Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) was determined to settle that land. My ancestors didn't have the same information as the Feinsteins. Knowing what we know now, they would have never supported the Monroe Doctrine"

Tens of protesters (pictured) lined the streets in other major US cities holding signs like "No Blood for Gay Marriage" and demanding the withdrawal of our citizens from the California quagmire. "I had a perfectly normal son move to San Francisco, now when he comes home for Christmas all he does is complain about God being on the $20 bill," lamented an unnamed parent of an unconfirmed child.

"The southern borders of California leak like a sieve and it has basically become a breeding ground for liberals," stated Bill Frist (R-Tenn) a noted P.C. hawk, "and the militant organization Moveon.org is so entrenched that honest and free elections seem unrealistic at this point."

Despite dwindling polls numbers, President Bush said Monday the US will not cut and run. "We are at crossroads in history. There are good people in California who will certainly fall to liberalism if we withdraw our conservatives to Nevada and Utah."

In A Word believes, despite all the political rhetoric, we need a timetable for action on California. With outposts like Hollywood and their weapons of mass distortion, how long can we afford to let their warped views destroy the American way of life?
