More Bad News For The Bush Administration

Apparently, according at least to Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, whites died at a higher rate than blacks during hurricane Katrina. Of the fatalities 47% were black and 42% were white, however the pre-storm population breakdown of New Orleans was 68% black and 28% white. Simple math tells us that President Bush shoulders the burden of explaining why we had so many collateral white deaths in our mission to kill off the black population of New Orleans.

Of course, news of these startling statistics prompted a phone call to the White House yesterday when the information was released...

Bush: "Yellooo"

Caller: "I have seen the death statistics from hurricane Katrina, Mr. Bush, and to put it mildly I am upset. We had an agreement to eradicate the blacks and I wish to know what went wrong?"

Bush: "Our pre-storm intelligence lead us to believe we had the hurricane positioned just right for maximum afro-American deaths, but you know how hurricanes are...they are a lot like women...hehe...you can't completely control 'em."

Caller: "My associates aren't going to be happy, Mr. Bush. And when their not happy, I am not happy. You don't want me unhappy do you, Mr. Bush?"

Bush: "Of course not, but hold on one cotton pickin' minute here. Now look, I put an unqualified man in charge of FEMA, spent most of the day during the storm fundraising in California, and allowed the incompetent elected government officials in Louisiana oversee the aftermath of the storm. I hardly believe I can be solely to blame for the disproportionate amount of white deaths."

Caller: "Do not believe for one second you are off the hook Mr. Bush. When we get done discussing the fallout from Katrina, we still need to talk about the disproportionate amount of white deaths in our military..."
