I've had it with the political posturing, the behind-the-scenes games, and snide veiled attacks on the Bush administration during Hollywood award shows. The Oscars proved to me once again last night what a sham they really are...
Happy Feet beat Cars for best full length animated feature? Are you kidding me? What the hell is wrong Hollyweird? Lighting McQueen is the man...er...car. Not since Out Of Africa beat The Color Purple have the Oscars completely botched the winner.
Clearly the academy was trying to send a message to the White House that movies glorifying the wanton proliferation of global warming by portraying automobiles in a positive light will away lose to sappy, soulless penguins...no matter how stupid, dumb and boring those said penguins happen to be.
